Are you a resident of a village in India and want to share the beauty of your community with travelers? Local Narratives collaborates directly with locals—farmers, fishermen, artisans, tribal communities, and homestay owners—to create authentic, immersive experiences.

Individuals involved in farming, fishing, crafts, homestays, or tribal communities
Passionate about sharing their culture, craft, and way of life with travelers
Self-Help Groups (SHGs), NGOs, or other local impact initiatives that wish to nominate their community as a Local Host are welcome—we are happy to discuss collaboration
Your experience should include at least one of the five elements of Local Narratives:
Show travelers the natural and cultural richness of your community.
Teach travelers how to cook traditional dishes using local ingredients.
Let travelers experience farming, fishing, or any other traditional occupation of your village.
Host travelers in your home or community for an authentic rural experience.
Share your traditional craft, art, or skill through workshops or demonstrations.
Earn extra income by hosting travelers and sharing your experiences
Gain a platform to showcase your local life and culture to a global audience
Build new connections and opportunities with travelers, youth leaders, and impact initiatives
Promote your village, craft, or livelihood, creating sustainable impact for your community
