Itinerary

The Adventure Begins

We'll gather at the designated spot in Bengaluru at 5:30 AM, where an air-conditioned bus will be waiting to whisk us away from the city's hustle to the serene, coffee-scented hills of Coorg. Our journey begins with a breakfast stop at Vaishali.

As we wind through lush greenery, we'll reach our private coffee estate by 1:30 PM, where warm refreshments will welcome us. After a brief introduction to the site and the locals who will be hosting us, we'll check into our rooms and take a short tour of the estate. A hearty lunch will follow.

An Afternoon of Bonding

The afternoon promises excitement as Harish leads us on a one-hour coffee plantation walk, sharing insights about the coffee-making process. Afterward, we'll enjoy high tea while gathering for a cozy evening of board games.

As the sun sets, we'll light a campfire and visit the local library. This is our moment to relax, share stories, laugh, and bond. After a satisfying dinner, we'll rest under the starry sky, surrounded by the tranquility of nature.

A Morning with Nature

We'll start our morning with tea and snacks at 8:00 AM, followed by a forest walk led by naturalist Danny. Together, we'll explore the estate's rich flora and fauna, discovering the sanctuary's role in preserving wildlife across Brahmagiri, Nagarhole, and Bandipur. Who knows? We might even spot a few rare species!

Reflect & Return

After the walk, we'll come together for brunch, reflecting on our shared experiences. By 2:00 PM, we'll board the bus back to Bengaluru, with a dinner stop along the way. Expect to arrive home by 9:00 PM, with hearts full and spirits high.

Successful Immersions

Immersion 1

The Impact Investment Fund team—12 members from 3 locations—gathered for 2 days in Theralu Village, Coorg.

Mission: Build bonds, align visions, and create a unified team.

Stay: A charming local bungalow, hosted by Harish and Jitendra: Local Hosts, nestled in a lush coffee estate.

Activity: Estate walks unveiled the farmer's life, challenges, and coffee-making processes.

  • • Rohit, a research engineer, brainstormed technological solutions for harvesting.
  • • Hiyori San, a Japanese team member, highlighted export-related challenges.

This cross-functional brainstorming fostered collaboration, problem-solving, and synergy.

And then what happened?

The magic of the village and local communities unfolded.

Evening by the lake: The team sketched their vision for the company, sparking inspiring discussions. Fresh perspectives emerged, fostering mutual respect and understanding. Connections deepened through stargazing, games, and book exchanges.

Day 2: A forest walk with Danny, the naturalist. What began cautiously (avoiding leeches and mud) transformed into laughter and teamwork. Nature rekindled their childlike wonder, creating deep bonds.

Outcome: The team returned with local products and memorable local experiences, as a deeply connected unit with an aligned vision, empathy, and collaborative energy.
