Itinerary

The Adventure Begins

The day started with an adventurous jeep safari to reach a farm. The farm-to-table experience of cardamom tea was amazing. We then trekked to Chokarmudi, where we enjoyed the breathtaking view.

After that, we went on a village walk, learning about the Mudi tribal life and their traditions. We also got the chance to work in a tea estate and a cardamom estate, where we discovered the entire cardamom production process, which was truly exciting.

Alsam took us to a lake for fishing and elephant watching, making us feel like we were truly part of the village life.

Successful Immersions

Immersion 1

Team-building activity in the woods of Munnar

The mission: Seek inspiration, explore culture, and have a relaxed team-building experience.

Activity: Cardamom estate walks revealed the farmers' lives, challenges, and the cardamom-making process. We had a farm-to-table experience during heritage walks.

  • • Rohit, a research engineer, brainstormed ways to use technology for harvesting.
  • • Hiyori San, a Japanese team member, identified export-related issues.

And then what happened?

Magic of Forest and Local Communities

The day started with farm walks and hiking through the hills of Munnar. A senior executive on the team did exceptionally well during the hike and inspired everyone.

In the afternoon, we visited the Mudi tribals of Munnar and learned about the people behind the tea-harvesting ecosystem. Learning about their resilience and discipline was particularly interesting.

Day 2 began with a trek alongside a local farmer, who showed us how he manages the day-to-day accounts of cardamom and how he projects growth. It was very interesting to learn from a farmer's perspective, as one member from the finance team shared.

Off-roading, interacting with locals, and staying at a local villa in the forest brought everyone together, inspiring them with new perspectives.
