Itinerary

The Adventure Begins

We'll gather at the designated spot in Bengaluru at 5:30 AM, where an air-conditioned bus will be waiting to whisk us away from the city's hustle to the serene forests of Wayanad. Our journey begins with a breakfast stop at Vaishali.

As we wind through lush greenery, we'll arrive at our treehouse by 1:30 PM, where warm refreshments will welcome us. After a brief introduction to the site and the locals who will be hosting us, we'll check into our treehouse and take a short tour of the forest. A hearty lunch will follow.

An Afternoon of Bonding

The afternoon promises creativity as we participate in a "Paint on the Leaf" art workshop. Later, we'll enjoy high tea and gather for a cozy board game evening.

As the sun sets, we'll light a campfire featuring local folk dance—our chance to relax, share stories, laugh, and bond. After a delightful dinner, we'll rest under the starry sky, embraced by nature's tranquility.

A Morning with Nature

We'll begin the morning with tea and snacks at 8:00 AM, followed by a forest walk with John. Together, we'll explore the Wayanad forest and gain insights into the life of the Paniya Tribal Community.

Reflect & Return

After the walk, we'll gather for brunch to reflect on our shared experiences. By 2:00 PM, we'll board the bus back to Bengaluru, stopping for dinner along the way. Expect to arrive home by 9:00 PM, with full hearts and uplifted spirits.

Successful Immersions

Immersion 1

The Bikers team—8 members from different work functions—gathered for 2 days in Wayanad.

Mission: Build bonds and combine diverse perspectives.

Stay: An adventurous treehouse hosted by Sajan Lal at the edge of the Sulthan Bathery forest.

Activity: Kengeri, the dog, and our local host welcomed us with jackfruit chips and a fruit bowl harvested from the same property.

  • • Sam, from the Finance team, witnessed for the first time how the tribe cooks using very limited resources and has little to no knowledge of financial planning.
  • • Sakshi, from the Sustainability team, began observing the forest and the eco-friendly choices locals make in their daily lives.

This cross-functional brainstorming initiated collaboration.

And then what happened?

Magic of Forest and Local Communities

Evening by the treehouse: The team painted on leaves, sharing their life perspectives, which sparked inspiring discussions. Fresh perspectives emerged, fostering mutual respect and understanding. Connections deepened through stargazing, games, and listening to local radio songs.

Day 2: The team enjoyed local food, stories, and deer watching from the treehouse. Watching deer closely from the treehouse wasn't enough, so the team decided to go on a jungle safari. Nature rekindled their childlike wonder, creating deep bonds.

Outcome: The team returned with local products and rich local experiences as a deeply connected unit, with an aligned vision, empathy, and collaborative energy.
